Ben Blacker is the creator and host of The Writers Panel, a podcast in which he talks with writers about the business and process of writing television. There are nearly 500 episodes with everyone from Norman Lear to Marta Kauffman to Damon Lindelof to Vince Gilligan. He's also the co-producer of Dead Pilots Society, the live show and podcast in which pilots by professional writers that were bought and developed but never produced are given the table reads they so richly deserve.

Blacker is best known as the creator, with his writing partner Ben Acker, of the Thrilling Adventure Hour, a staged show and podcast that ran monthly for ten years to sold out crowds, an LA staple, garnering acclaim everywhere from the LA Weekly to Rolling Stone.

Acker & Blacker have sold pilots to USA, Fox, Nickelodeon, Spike, and other networks. He's written on the shows Supernatural, Puss in Boots, and more. Acker & Blacker are the authors of the Star Wars: Join the Resistance series, canonical young adult novels set in the Star Wars universe. They've written comic books for Marvel, DC, Image, Dynamite, and Boom! Studios. They are the writers/producers of Cut & Run, an Audible original series starring Meg Ryan, D'Arcy Carden, Sam Richardson, Thomas Lennon, and more.
Blacker is the writer and creator of the DC/Vertigo comic Hex Wives, which is Bewitched plus The Stepford Wives, available as a trade paperback and, you know, if you want to adapt it for TV, he's game.
