Writers Assistant, VIDA | Inside the Writers Room with VIDA

Christina Nieves is a screenwriter and actor based in Los Angeles, CA. She is passionate about writing intersectional stories that feature people of color and queer folx as the heroes of their own stories. She is currently pursuing her Master of Fine Arts in TV and Screenwriting from Stephens College. Christina’s full-length play The Only One was featured on The Mix, a curated list of plays recommended by Steppenwolf Theatre Company, as well as a finalist with Quicksilver Theater Company’s Playwright’s of Color Summit. Christina’s acting credits include Iron Fist (Netflix), Difficult People (Hulu), Wisdom of the Crowd (CBS), Bull (CBS) and dozens of plays at regional theaters all around the country. She is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA and the Actors' Equity Association.
