Creator and Co-Showrunner, Love Life | From Pitch to Screen: Inside the Journey of a New Original Series

Sam Boyd is the creator of LOVE LIFE, a television series on which he also serves as co-showrunner, executive producer, and director. Before that, he wrote and directed IN A RELATIONSHIP, starring Emma Roberts, which premiered at the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival to critical acclaim, before being released theatrically later that year. IN A RELATIONSHIP was a feature version of Boyd’s short film of the same name, which starred Dakota Johnson and Nicholas Braun, and premiered on Vogue.com in 2015, garnering over a million views online. 
 
Additionally, Boyd was a writer on the first season of IFC’s horror comedy STAN AGAINST EVIL, and has also directed branded content for clients such as Gatorade and Laura Mercier. He is a graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
